The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA will be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it's alarmed in regards to the significant range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The company issue made for intervention activities a significant influx of possible beneficiaries, that status sassa makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to enable the servicing of all customers and maximize entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
